1. Excellent durability performance outdoors The manufacturer guarantees a lifespan against decay fungi of 50 years outdoors and 25 years underground and in freshwater. 2. High termite resistance Termites cannot use Akoya as a nutrient source. 3. Dimensionally stable performance resistant to moisture and water Due to its high hydrophobicity and very small changes in moisture content, swelling and shrinkage of the material are kept extremely low. 4. Uniform properties throughout the material Even when freely shaped through processes like molding, there is no change in durability or dimensional stability. 5.
